Dear WCS

Welcome back! Well done on a cracking rehearsal yesterday, and thank you to Howard and Richard for some excellent sectional work. You really are starting to sound quite thrilling!

A recap on what we have rehearsed so far:

Week 1 - Numbers 5 & 9
Week 2 - 5, 9, 22
Week 3 - 2, 22, 32, 42
Week 4 - 1, 10, 29
Week 5 - 16, 29, 42
Week 6 - 1, 11-13, 16, 32
Week 7 - 19, 20, 22, 11-13
Week 8 - 20, 23, 29, 34
Week 9 - 5, 19, 23, 24,
Week 10 - 2, 9, 24, 34
Week 11 - 1, 9, 16, 32, 38
Week 12 - 1, 20, 29, 42
Week 13 - 10, 11, 12, 13, 20, 22, 28, 32

If you are a soprano or alto and missed yesterday, please make sure you learn number 28 as a matter of urgency. We will rehearse it again, of course, but we do not have time to do more than cosmetic note-bashing. Next week we will look at the following:

5, 19, 23, 28, 34, 38

There after, week 15 will be choruses from part 1, week 16 will be choruses from part 2, and week 17 (our final rehearsal) will be as close to a full run-through as we can manage.

In other news, I have attached a flyer for the Bristol Early Music Festival, of which I am a trustee: there are some amazing events this year, please do come along if you fancy! More information here: https://www.bristolearlymusicfestival.uk/

With very best wishes
Huw
