A huge, heartfelt thank you and congratulations for your wonderful performance on Saturday! Gosh that was a very fine effort - I'm so grateful for all the hard work and commitment you showed in learning a very tricky programme, particularly the Stabat Mater which was in quite an unfamiliar idiom. It was so beautiful, you sang with great atmosphere, just as the music needed! And "Toward an Unknown Region" - that was so exhilarating! Well done, brilliant.

Deep thanks to the committee and concert team for all your patience and work, and to Lucas our amazing soloist, who I am SURE we will see again. And to Richard, who really excelled himself this time. Wonderful.

It feels strange now to think that the very next thing we will sing together will be some Christmas carols! But there we are - have a wonderful summer and I really look forward to seeing you all again in the autumn.
