An Afternoon of Glorious Festive Song
Weston Choral presents its Christmas Concert.
Weston Choral warmly invites you to a sparkling celebration of the season on Saturday 20 December 2025 at 3.00 pm, in the beautiful setting of All Saints' Church, Weston-super-Mare.
The centrepiece of this year’s programme is Benjamin Britten’s much-loved Ceremony of Carols, a radiant sequence of medieval and modern carols that captures the wonder and mystery of Christmas. The choir is thrilled to be joined by acclaimed harpist Kate Pearson, whose shimmering accompaniment is integral to Britten’s magical sound world. Solo parts will be sung by talented sopranos Hannah Macaulay and Lara Wisby.
This concert will be conducted by our Musical Director, Huw Morgan, and at the piano will be Weston Choral’s concert accompanist, the ever-popular Richard Lennox, whose artistry and energy are cherished by audiences everywhere.
Alongside the Britten, the programme will feature a selection of seasonal favourites and lesser-known gems, ensuring something to delight everyone:

Come and experience an afternoon of glorious musical atmosphere, and festive spirit as Weston Choral ushers in Christmas with style. This will be a concert of wonderful seasonal music including beautiful Christmas carols, Messiah pieces, Christmas Readings and audience carols.
